Whitefield students celebrated fall homecoming with a week of activities including dress up days, a pep rally, a football game against St. Francis, and the crowning of Miss Whitefield. Students enjoyed dress-up days based on a board game theme. For example, on Clue day, students dressed as detectives or characters of the popular game and played assassin. On Life day, students dressed up based on a certain phase of life, such as infancy or old age. Faculty members joined in the fun, dressing as if they were still in high school.
Each grade level in the Upper School elected representatives for the homecoming court which included:
Freshmen: Ruthie Evans and Madeline LeBlanc
Sophomores: Ansley Guthrie and Louise Schwaerter
Juniors: Kelley Eubanks, Mallory Fields, and Rachael Lewis
Seniors: Kathryn Bracher, Merritt Enright, Ryann Farmer, Kristen Fikse,
Rachel Hicks, and Whitney Merkle
On Friday night, during the half time show, the court took the field and Kathryn Bracher was crowned Miss Whitefield 2014.
