Congratulations to the varsity volleyball team which is headed to the state playoffs, a first in Whitefield history. The team ended its regular season with a 14-8 record, beating teams such as Galloway, Our Lady of Mercy, North Cobb Christian and Christian Heritage.
Varsity players Sunni Dupree, Olivia Nicholas, Mariah Cowan and Kelsey Butler also have some of the highest stats in the region, with Sunni Dupree #1 in total blocks, blocks per set and aces per set; Mariah Cowan #3 in blocks per set; Kelsey Butler #4 in aces per set; and Olivia Nicholas #5 in kills per set.
The first round of the playoffs is Thursday, October 16. The WolfPack will take on Landmark Christian at Landmark at 6 p.m.
